Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an Assistant M&E Buyer to support the Buying team. No M&E experience necessary, you will be trained up on the job, whilst supporting Senior Buyers. Excellent opportunity.
Job title: Assistant M&E Buyer
Duties & Responsibilities: As the Assistant M&E Buyer your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Carry out the M&E procurement process for complex procurement requirements in accordance with procurement & supply chain management strategy
• Liaise with M&E sites to assist with the resolution of supply issues as and when required
• Provide regular M&E reports on procurement and supplier performance
• Monitor vendor database to ensure that it contains up to date details of available suppliers
• Monitor the supply market to identify potential new M&E suppliers and products and meet with suppliers to understand their products.
• Understand the M&E supplier market, keeping abreast of market developments, demand trends and risks
Qualifications & Skills required:
• MCIPS qualification or degree is desirable
• Experience procuring within the M&E contracting sector
• Eligible to live and work in the UK with a valid drivers license
