And having worked on the consultancy side of Building Services, Design and also Facilities Management – he is able to offer a thorough understanding of the whole Design, Build, Operate & Manage (DBOM) process.

In his spare time, newly-married, Josh is Captain of a local football team and when he’s not on the pitch, you’ll find him and his acoustic guitar on stage in Manchester. A singer/song writer since he was 11-years-old, Josh is proud of his city’s underground music scene and often plays solo gigs when he’s not working.

Are you an experienced maintenance engineer looking to work for an industry leading contractor?

As part of continued growth, our client, an Industry Leader within the renewables/energy sector, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work on a mobile basis across the North of England.

You will be tasked will ensuring the continued operation of large scale energy centres and all associated maintenance requirements within as they provide alternative energy sources to a large array of end users

Role Overview

  • Repairing and maintaining of all essential plant & ancillary equipment i.e steam boilers, CHP systems, heat systems etc.
  • Responding to alerts, monitoring performance, troubleshooting & fault finding
  • Breakdown response & call out.
  • General operations & maintenance
  • Adhere to all environmental & health & safety policies.

 

Person Specification

  • Demonstrable history as a maintenance engineer within an FM or specialist engineering environment.
  • Mechanically biased, Gas Safe registered, Electrical Competency
  • Qualified with HND/HNC/C&G/Apprenticeship in relevant engineering area.
  • Flexibility to operate on a mobile basis and be part of an on call rota.
