Typical roles include: Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators, Quantity Surveyors, Bid & Procurement Managers and Site Managers.

Conveniently situated in Manchester, Josh brings over three-years solid experience in M&E recruitment. And having worked on the consultancy side of Building Services, Design and also Facilities Management – he is able to offer a thorough understanding of the whole Design, Build, Operate & Manage (DBOM) process.

In his spare time, newly-married, Josh is Captain of a local football team and when he’s not on the pitch, you’ll find him and his acoustic guitar on stage in Manchester. A singer/song writer since he was 11-years-old, Josh is proud of his city’s underground music scene and often plays solo gigs when he’s not working.

Are you a Mechanical Building Services professionals looking for a senior leadership position within a forward thinking, growing national MEP contractor? Are you capable of growing and developing a mechanical division to successfully deliver projects across a variety of new and emerging sectors? 

Guyan & Associates are currently recruiting an Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager to lead the Mechanical Division of a £100mil+ building services contractor, out of their regional offices in Lincolnshire. 

 
Roles Description:

 

As Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will;:
  • Have a proven track record of leading and mentoring successful project teams.
  • Ensures the successful implementation, completion and demonstration of the project commissioning and handover procedures together with its associated documentation to achieve total customer satisfaction.
  • Be commercially astute with ability to provide full financial and contractual control throughout a project(s) lifecycle. 
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly project cost reporting in line with company procedures.
  • Ability to produce coherent and detailed programmes embracing all stages of the construction process to deliver projects on time and in line with contractual obligations.
  • Able to manage B&ES and JIB Operatives.
  • Liaise with and have an appreciation of electrical installations and their coordination / integration.
  • Strong Health & Safety culture with an assertive ability to ensure compliance with company and project procedures.
  • Good IT skills and able to use Microsoft office, programming and commercial reporting software.
  • Within a team, able to assist and prepare conceptual and detailed project and tender documentation and designs.
  • Strong technical knowledge and proven ability of orchestrating and evaluating the design process with various stakeholders, particularly external consultants and end user clients.
