M&E Procurement Manager

Job Description

 

 

As the Procurement Manager your role will include but will not be limited to:
  • Responsible for the implementation of ‘best practice’ procurement processes and procedures
  • Responsible for the selection and management of regional supply chain relationship strategies to maximise competitive advantage
  • Interface with key regional suppliers / subcontractors at a senior level
  • Lead negotiations with key regional suppliers / subcontractors
  • Represent procurement at a senior level at meetings with clients, subcontractors and suppliers (both internal and external to the project / business)
  • Responsible for the implementation of the procurement strategy to deliver the agreed project and business objectives
  • Participate in project / business initiatives to improve supply chain performance
  • Manage service level agreements
  • Comply with business (and where necessary project) procurement procedures
  • Manage the regional supplier performance review process
  • Manage and supervise the regional procurement team
  • Mentor and coach direct reports
  • Add value in reducing internal spend
