M&E Project Director

Job Description


This is a requirement for M&E Project Director for a major M&E project £21m, split end use, office, hotel and high end residential.  Previous experience in delivering major M&E project is essential, with further details outlined below.

As a Project Leader / Director your duties will include but will not be limited to:

·        Provide overall leadership of the M&E delivery on major significant projects to defined cost, time and quality  requirements

·        Provide influential leadership of team managing a complex project to successful delivery

·        Implement safety management systems and personally set the standard of zero tolerance of unsafe practices and  occurrences

·        Ensure implementation of training required to meet H&S standards

·        To be the M&E Representative across the multiple interfaces within the project

·        Provide a single point of contact for the client in relation to M&E project activities

·        Establish the team structures, tools and processes that support delivery

·        To actively promote and trial innovation in methodology, processes and products

·        Deliver the project within the authorised budget, optimising cost and quality parameters

·        Ensure production controls are in place for monitoring, reporting, benchmarking works and improving performance

·        To provide regular feedback of production analysis to the Construction partner.

·        Support implementation of line HR policies and practices

·        Create an environment for exceptional team performance

·        To ensure the teams, roles, skills and behaviour are aligned with the companies objectives and project  requirements

·        Optimise resource utilisation and eliminate waste wherever possible

·        Demonstrate strong, inspirational leadership qualities
